Kin Kenya

Our flagship ‘Conservancy to Coast’ safari with Cottars 1920s Camp, one of the most gorgeous legacy camps and pioneering conservation projects in the world. With just 14 guests, we make a home in a 7600-acre community-owned conservancy abutting the Masai Mara National Reserve. With warriors and rangers, we journey among wildlife, hidden waterfalls and villages rich with stories and wisdom - further critical conservation work; then trade our dusty khakis for white linens and the sacred paradise of Lamu island.

We arrive to Conservancy Camp, our first candle-lit dinner, bonfire and introduction to the Masai people.

Everyone is eager to see animals so we load a picnic and venture through the Conservancy and Reserve to track lion prides, elephants, journeys of giraffe, cheetahs, hippos, even rhinos and leopards if we're lucky. We breakfast under an acacia in the plains, meander back to camp for a late lunch and nap before sundown cocktails and another candle-lit, family dinner.
